About Mitch Bourgeois

CDT & Team Leader, Ceramics

An Oregon Native, Mitch is a graduate of Oregon State University. He joined the O’Brien team in 1992 and is one of our CDTs. Hired for a porcelain position, he learned quickly and realized dental technology was something he would enjoy doing. Mitch was determined to learn from the most experienced technicians and sought to excel in everything he did, enabling him to work on the most challenging cases.

Starting with 35mm film photography, Mitch grew with the advances in digital photography.  With an eye for detail and aesthetics, he has become an expert on custom shades and custom staining. Coming from a long line of artists, Mitch brought ‘the family artist’s eye’ to dental technology. He is wholly committed to the relationship between the lab, the doctor’s office, and the patient. His dedication to relationships makes Mitch a valuable team member. He is also actively involved with others who want to learn to take their skills to the next level.

When not working, he enjoys the latest projects from his inexhaustible list of Honey-do’s. His hobbies include anything outdoors, music, hunting, woodworking, motorcycles, and guitars. Married for more than 35 years, he has three grown children and two grandchildren. His greatest joy is just hanging out with his family.
