- Experienced Denture TechnicianPrimary Job Duties:
Responsibilities include: Start to finish fabrication of dentures & partials, repairs and relines.
Applicants must possess the following qualities:
Time management skills with ability to effectively prioritize, monitor and manage work flow in and out of work station, meeting assigned deadlines.
Ability to work independently while being a positive and strong member of a production team.
Available to meet overtime and scheduling demands with little or no notice.
Willing to take on all work assignments with a "can do" attitude.
Understand the importance of following production protocol and meeting quality standards.
Strong work ethic with emphasis on dependability.
Good written and verbal communication skills (read & write English).
Must have minimum of five years practical experience in denture fabrication.
Be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Be able to use, with precision, hand pieces such as hot wands and hand held rotary (Dremel) tools.
Have the ability to work in a production lab environment with exposure to noise, dust & water.
Be open and available to work varying shift lengths.
Must complete pre-hire skills-based assessment testing.
Must pass drug screen and criminal background check.
Electric mixer, vibration plates, wax wands, upright sander, microscopes, Dremel tools, lathe, and Bunsen burner.
Shift: Days / Mon - Fri / Shift starts at 5:00 am and ends when the days work is complete.
Starting Wage: Wage negotiable DOE

A decision regarding an offer of interview will be made within two weeks of receipt of the application. The applicant who successfully passes the interview and pre-hire process will be offered a four week assignment employed through a staffing agency. At the end of the four week assignment, a performance evaluation will be conducted and a decision regarding continued employment with O’Brien Dental Lab will be made.
