  • Customer Route Representative
    Primary Job Duties:
    The primary function of the Customer Route Representative is pick-up and delivery of lab work. The primary focus of the Customer Route Representative is to uphold the promise of on time delivery while providing exceptional customer service.

    Assigned routes are in the major Portland metropolitan area. Additional tasks as may be occasionally assigned.

    Please note the following:
    Position reports to work in Tualatin. Smoking is not allowed while in uniform or when driving a company vehicle. Commercial Driver License (CDL) is NOT required. Company vehicle is provided.

    Applicants must possess the following qualities:

    Requirements:
    Must have current valid driver license. Must pass DMV check for insurability.
    Must be able to operate company vehicle in all road, weather and traffic conditions.

    Must be able to meet physical demands of this fast paced job with or without reasonable accommodation: The Customer Route Representative will sit for extended periods of time, as well as repeatedly enter and exit the delivery vehicle throughout the workday. Must walk short distances and may climb stairs on occasion. May occasionally lift up to 20 lbs.

    Must demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills.
    Must be able to consistently meet assigned delivery times.
    Must be willing to wear company uniform. No visible tattoos or facial piercings while in uniform.
    Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
    Must be flexible, having the ability to meet overtime demands with little or no notice.
    Must work well with co-workers and management staff, contributing to a cohesive and effective customer service team.

    Previous delivery experience is not required. Preference will be given to applicants with a strong customer service background.
    Must pass staffing agency hiring process.


    Equipment:
    The Route Representative uses a company vehicle cellphone. May on occasion work with computer and a variety of other general office equipment.

    Employment Details:
    Shift: 35+ hours per week / Mon-Fri / Shift starts at 8:30 am and ends when the days work is completed
    Starting Wage: $13.00/hr. - Initial Training

  • Metals Casting Technician
    Primary Job Duties:
    The Metals Casting Technician performs as a reliable, helpful and productive member of the metals production team whose primary function is to process invested rings (molds) of wax patterns for metal casting.

    Primary duties include: calculating and issuing alloy to be cast, using a burnout oven to prepare rings for casting, casting molten alloy, divesting invested rings, separating individual units with cut off machine, issuing individual cast units for further processing, record metal data related to casting.

    Additional duties include but are not limited to: keeping supplies stocked, maintaining cleanliness of work area and equipment, provide support to wax technicians and production manager as needed.

    Job is performed primarily from a standing position, with exposure to high heat equipment, noise, dust and water.

    Requirements:
    Must demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills
    Must be able to successfully monitor, prioritize and manage work flow in and out of work station
    Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
    Must have exceptional hand eye coordination and small motor skills
    Must possess strong math skills
    Must have good written and verbal communication skills

    Preference given for previous metals casting experience. Background in jewelry casting a plus.
    Must pass staffing agency hiring process


    Equipment:
    The Metals Casting Tech will use the following tools and equipment in the function of their job:
    Sand blaster
    Divesting machines
    Cut-off lathe
    High heat burnout ovens
    Small rotary hand tools
    Vacuum pressure casting machine
    Broken arm caster
    Scale & calculator

    Employment Details:
    Shift: 40+ hours per week / Mon-Fri / Shift starts at 7:00 am and ends when the days work is completed
    Starting Wage: DOE
