Exceptional Strength
3M research indicates that zirconium oxide frameworks “exceed the maximum masticatory load (450N) several times over (1200N–1400N)…even in posterior applications.” At the same time, Lava Cores have proven to be much stronger than other all-ceramic materials.

Easy Cementation
For cementation, the manufacturer recommends 3M™ESPE™RelyX™ luting cement, a resin modified glass ionomer. You may, however, use whichever crown and bridge cement you prefer.

In House Milling
Producing our own cores for Z Core restorations allows us complete control of the production process. Cases are scanned, milled and finished 100% on the premises. No extra shipping time to an outside source. So, turnaround time is predictable – comparable to a PFM!

Indications – Bridges, yes!
With its outstanding mechanical and optical properties, Z Core is indicated for single units to 4-unit bridges (up to 38mm) where blending with natural teeth is most important. (No dark line, no chalky look!) And, it is more than suitable for all anterior and posterior placements.
