Cristobal®+

Description: An indirect composite restorative system consisting of a Bis-GMA based resin matrix with a Barium Borosilicate glass ceramic filler. Cristobal+ is recommended as a porcelain alternative when protection of opposing dentition, wear resistance, and natural esthetics are primary concerns. Clinical test results have shown Cristobal+ to compare favorably to other indirect composite systems currently on the market.

Indications: Cristobal+ is indicated for inlays, onlays, crowns (through 1st molar), metal free/fiber free 3-unit bridges (through 2nd bicuspid), veneers and implants. Crowns and bridges on all teeth when fabricated with a metal substructure.

Preparation: Conventional all porcelain/composite preparations. Manufacturer's preparation guide available.

Cementation: Restorations fabricated with a metal sub-structure can be cemented conventionally. Adhesive cementation must be performed for all other Cristobal+ restorations. Calibra Esthetic Resin Cement (Caulk, Dentsply) is the manufacturer's recommended cement. However, Cristobal+ is compatible with any resin cement system.
